Flesner was originally a two-sport standout in basketball and softball but expanded her talents to soccer when she was asked to join the team to fill a void during her senior year. She responded by being selected the team’s most improved player that season. Flesner finished her basketball career ranked third in school history in career assists with 416.

She finished third in school history with 247 career steals, 77 steals in a season and seven steals in a game. She also tied a school record with 14 free throws in a game. Flesner finished her career by scoring 1,054 points. On the softball field, Flesner was an All-NCAA Division II Central Region first-team performer in 1992 with a .419 batting average, the second-highest in school history. She set a school record with 51 runs scored that season and holds school career records with 139 runs scored and 69 walks.
