Rob Munson spent three seasons as the starting tailback for the Hawks including1993, the best season win-loss record in Hawk history.

Munson was an honorable mention All-American in 1993, was twice named to ILLINI-BADGER All-Conference team, and in 1993 was selected as the league’s Most Outstanding Offensive Back .

Munson set the standard for Quincy University and rewrote nearly every rushing record for the institution.

Munson finished his three-year career with 2,092 yards rushing on 442 carries.

Munson still holds three career records at Quincy University. These include, total touchdowns (40), rushing touchdowns (39), and points scored (240).

Munson was QU’s first 1,000 yard rusher when he ran for 1,085 yards in 1993 and he is still third in QU history for rushing yards in a single season. Munson is 2nd in single-season with 15 rushing touchdowns which he accomplished twice in 1993 and 1994.

Munson still holds the school record for rushing yards in a single game with 287 yards against Greenville College.
