Hall of Fame
Bowers was a member of the Hawks men’s soccer team from 1987-90. He was named First Team Big Central All-Conference as both a junior and senior and was named Second Team All-Conference as a sophomore. Bowers was a contributor from the first moment he stepped on the field, being named Quincy’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman, and a natural leader, serving as the Hawks’ team captain as a senior. Bowers was also named to the Great Lakes Classic All-Tournament and the Illinois State University All-Tournament teams. Following his collegiate career he played professionally for both the Detroit Rockers and the Kansas City Wizards.
