Quincy University currently offers 28 varsity sports with the addition of STUNT and competitive dance in 2024-2025. The role of the Athletic Communications department is to coordinate contact between student-athletes, coaches and the athletic department to the media as well as disseminating information to the media and general public via various outlets.

Credentials:
Requests for credentials to cover Quincy University home athletics events must be submitted to the Sports Information Office no less than 48 hours prior to the event. All requests must be made in writing (via email). Credentials will be granted to working media only.
Credentials may be issued to working members of the media representing recognized outlets in the business of sports reporting as a primary function of their business. Eligible outlets include newspapers, websites, magazines, television, and radio. Credentials will not be issued to representatives whose outlet exists solely for distributing content on a social media platform. Freelancers will not be credentialed unless contracted by an eligible media organization or visiting team. Credentials are not presented to family or friends unless those individuals are performing a professional function.
Credentialed photographers, videographers, and other media are required to remain outside of team areas as well as other spaces such as press boxes or season tickets areas unless contracted by the Sports Information Director. Credentials are non-transferable and may be revoked for violation of these policies.

Photographers:
Photographers and videographers wishing to shoot Quincy University sporting events must request credentials from the Athletic Communications Office. Photographers must obey NCAA rules pertaining to any designated areas to shoot from.
Statistics:
The department utilizes Genius Sports for basketball, football, volleyball, and soccer and Stat Crew for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and tennis. The Athletic Communications Department will provide a box score to coaches and  working media as soon as possible upon request after sporting events. All other requests must be made to the Director of Sports Information, Olivia Kindt. 

Radio/TV/Internet Broadcasts:
All Quincy University regular season varsity home games can be seen on the GLVC Sports Network. Nearly all home and away football and basketball contests can be heard on WGEM Radio.

Visiting Radio:
Requests for radio broadcasts must be made through the Quincy University Athletic Communications Office. Quincy offers a courtesy internet connection for visiting radio. All visiting radio requests must be made in a week or more advance. 

Interview Policy:
All interview requests for players and coaches must go through the Quincy University Sports Information Office. Please give 24 hours notice for interview requests.
Post-game interviews will be set up by the Sports Information Staff after players and coaches have a 10-minute cool down period, per NCAA regulations.

Media outlets wishing to shoot practices should also inquire with the SID office for times and availability.
