Driscoll was a two-sport standout at Quincy in basketball and baseball. He was a three-year starter at point guard for the Hawks’ basketball team and was an outfielder for the baseball team. On the basketball court, Driscoll finished his career as the school’s all-time leader in assists with 627.
He led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in assists as a sophomore with 7.3 per game. He helped Quincy win 72 games and qualify for the NCAA Division II Tournament in 1995 and 1997. On the baseball field, Driscoll helped lead the Hawks to Division II Tournament appearances in 1997 and 1999. He finished third all-time in school history with eight triples and fourth all-time with 81 walks. He was a member of the 1999 Quincy team which won a school-record 43 games. Driscoll was the recipient of the 1998 Brother Clete Van Ackeren Award for academic and athletic achievement.
