Scott Gregory was a three sport athlete for the Hawks, playing soccer, baseballa nd football during his career. He earned a bronze medal in soccer at the 1991 Olympic Festival and served as the starting goalkeeper in the 1992 Senior Soccer Bowl. He was later drafted in the second round by the St. Louis Storm of the professional indoor soccer league. In 1991, he was named Team MVP, an Adidas Scholar Athlete and First Team All-Midwest Region Academic All-America. 

A goalkeeper on the Hawk soccer squad, Gregory was named Big Central Soccer All-Conference First Team in both 1989 and 1990. Gregory was also named the Most Valuable Defender in the Big Central Conference Tournament in 1988, along with Second Team Big Central Soccer All-Conference and QU Rookie of the Year. As a pitcher on the Hawk baseball team, Gregory posted a 6-1 mark in 1992 with a 3.50 earned run average. He gave up 25 earned runs in 50 innings pitched and was 2-2 with four saves in 1993. He was also a field goal kicker on the football team in 1992. Gregory was the 1993 recipient of the Brother Clete Van Ackeren Award fro Academic and Athletic Achievment.
