Quincy University Hawks

The 1981 men's soccer team was the last team of the early Hawk dynasty to win a National Championship. The Hawks went 21-3-1 that season, finishing with a school record for wins in a season. The 1981 team included: Tor Duner, Jack Horas, Steve Lux, Claes Sandstrom, Frank Bufe, Jim Thomas, Joe Waldron, Jim Hearned, Rick Day, John Gallo, Jim Ram, Hans Karlsson, Mark Roome, John Hirlinger, Steve Todd, Gary Cook, Mike Mitchell, Jim Stoll and Matt Derrick as well as head coach Jack Mackenzie and Assistant Coaches Frank Longo, Elias Manassah and Farhad Valimoghaddam.
