ROBINSVILLE, Miss. – The men's and women's golf teams kicked off their spring schedule on February 20^th and 21^st at the Tunica Cup hosted by Union University. The tournament was played at Tunica National Golf Club.

Men's Results

The men placed 7^th out of 10 teams with a 54 hole total of 983 (334-333-316). They were led by Ryan Kruse who placed 33^rd with a 243 (85-79-79). Jack Weis tied for 34^th with a 245 (84-83-78). Coming in 38^th, David Hutson was one shot behind Weis with a 246 (84-81-81). Jack Driscoll and Griffin Taylor rounded out the Hawks line up with a 253 and 254.

Rilee West competed as an individual shooting a 245 (86-82-77). The 3^rd round by West was the lowest individual round recorded by a Hawk in the tournament.

Women's Results

The women came in 5^th place out of 5 teams in the season opening Tunica Cup with a 1011 (341-342-328). Natalie Dearwester led the Hawks placing in the top 10 with a 241 (83-81-77). Hannah Maguire shot a 253 (88-85-80) which was good for 17^th. Karlie Schnepp tied for 18^th with a 254 (80-82-92). Lily Vardaman and Haley Cramer rounded out the Hawks line up with a 263 and 309.
