MARSHALL, Minn. - The Quincy men's wrestling team split its four duals at the Iron Mike Duals on Saturday in Marshall, Minnesota, picking up convincing wins over Fort Hays State and Southwest Minnesota State while dropping decisions to Northern State and Sioux Falls.

RV Quincy 32, Fort Hays State 11

The Hawks opened the day in strong fashion, winning seven of the ten bouts. Te'Andre Allen set the tone at 133 pounds with a fall at 4:59, while Sabian Russell (149) and Isaiah Nichols (157) added technical falls to stretch the lead. Mac Chambers (174), Callan Ivy (184), and Caleb Groff (285) all secured bonus-point victories as Quincy pulled away for the 32–11 win.

RV Northern State 34, RV Quincy 6

Quincy ran into a tough Northern State lineup in the second dual, as the Wolves claimed eight bouts. The Hawks' points came from decisions by Chambers at 174 pounds and Ivy at 184, but Northern State used multiple major decisions, a technical fall, and two pins to secure the 34–6 victory.

RV Quincy 28, Southwest Minnesota State 6

The Hawks bounced back in dominant fashion against Southwest Minnesota State, winning eight of ten bouts. Russell and Nichols continued their strong days with another technical fall and decision, respectively, while Chambers picked up a major decision at 174. Ivy, Yates, Jones, and Groff all added wins as Quincy rolled to a 28–6 victory.

Sioux Falls 19, RV Quincy 18 

In the final dual of the day, Quincy came up just short in a tightly contested match decided by tiebreaker criteria. Russell, Nichols, Chambers, and Ivy all earned wins, with Russell recording a 22–7 technical fall at 149 and Ivy posting a 13–0 major decision at 184. Despite the strong performances, a pin at 197 and a narrow decision at heavyweight swung the dual in favor of Sioux Falls.

The Hawks will return to action on Sunday, January 18, at the Roger Denker Open in Warrensburg, Missouri, held at the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.
