2024-25 (Junior): Yates earned all three of his victories on the season at the Kaufman Brand Bayly UCM Open (11/24/24), which gave him a 4th-place finish in the elite 197 division.

2023-24 (Sophomore): For the second straight year, Yates had double-digit wins and was one of five Hawks to have ten or more wins. Yates opened up the season with a 3rd-place finish in the amateur 184 division at the Maryville Open (11/4/23). On the season, Yates earned five victories in dual matches for the Hawks and finished the season with a 6th-place finish in the 184 division at the DII Super Regional IV.
