Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Freshman): Bao-Washington became a regular part of the Quincy lineup during his freshman season, finishing with a 13-20 overall record and a .394 win percentage. He saw steady dual action, going 1-9 overall and 0-3 in conference matchups while scoring three dual points for the Hawks.

Bao-Washington recorded two tech falls, three major decisions, and five decision victories during the season. He made his collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Open (11/1/25), where he went 3-2 and picked up the first wins of his career.

Bao-Washington added a fourth-place finish at the Service Salute Open (11/8/25) before earning a runner-up finish at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open (11/22/25). He closed his freshman campaign with a strong postseason showing, placing fifth at NCAA Division II Regional #4 (3/1/26).

Personal: Bao-Washington is from Houston, Texas, where he attended Cypress Falls High School and competed for the Golden Eagles. Dimitri graduated Cum Laude with a GPA above 3.2.

On the mat, Bao-Washington put together a standout high school career as a district champion, regional champion, and state placer. Dimitri is the son of Donald Washington and Kathy Athara and has one sister, Divia Bao-Washington.

Outside of athletics, Dimitri enjoys reading manga, watching anime, and playing video games. His favorite athletes are Meyer Shapiro, the Satiev brothers, and Jax Forrest.
