Biography
2024-25 (Sophomore): Schell earned a 3rd-place finish at the Service Salute Open (12/9/24), winning three of his four matches. At the Dr. Tom Smith Invitational (1/11/25), Schell once again won three of his four matches, getting him the 2nd-place nod.Â

2023-24 (Freshman): As a freshman, Schell was one of five Hawks to reach double-digit wins on the season. He made his collegiate debut at the Maryville Open (11/4/23), where he put together four wins, which earned him 5th-place in the amateur 184 division. At the Luther College Open, he notched another three victories and a 7th-place finish in the silver 184 division. Dalton earned his first dual victory against Morton College (1/7/24), helping the Hawks to a 42-12 victory.

Personal:Â Schell is from Flagler Beach, Florida, where he graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School. During his time as a Bulldog, Dalton was a three-sport athlete, participating in baseball, football, and wrestling. He truly thrived on the mat, placing in state. He is the son of Carrie and Nickolas Schell and the brother of Sadie. His father, Nickolas, played football for a couple of seasons at Maryville College.
Why QU?
I chose QU because the environment felt right for me to grow as a person and as an athlete. I felt like I had the resources to be able to achieve my goals in more ways than one.
