PEORIA, Ill. - The Quincy University Men's and Women's cross country team ran its second event of the 2025 season on Friday, Sep.19th at the Bradley Intercollegiate, hosted by Bradley University. The women finished their meet in 13th place, while the men team finished in 21st place. 

The Lady Hawks were led by Katie Park, who posted a strong time of 18:13.30 and a finish of 31st. Alexis Fonseca followed closely behind, with a time of 19:39.70, and a 74th-place finish, giving Quincy two runners in the top half of the field. Emily Faletti finished in 111th place with a time of 20:46.10. Sofia Coglianese recorded a time of 21:57.40 to finish in 137th place. Mia Robner posted a time of 23:54.50 and a 168th-place finish. The hawks showed steady improvement from the team's opening meet earlier this month. 

Leading the Hawks for the men was Oliver Moore, who crossed the line in 30:21.4 to place 162nd overall in the race. Justin Kappner followed with a strong performance, running 30:35.1 for 168th place, while Vinny Olson added depth with a 30:38.2 finish. Rounding out the scoring pack for Quincy were Owen Weinfurtner, in 179th place, with a time of 30:55.3, and Joe Warning, in 179th place, with a time of 31:04.7. The Hawks finished in 21st place in a competitive field of 23 schools.
