HENDERSON, Nev. – The Quincy University women's golf team opened the 2026 spring season on Wednesday and Thursday at the Warrior Vegas Invitational, finishing eighth out of 10 teams at The Legacy Golf Club.

The Hawks posted a three-round team total of 1,030 (+166), carding rounds of 339, 353, and 338 across the two-day event. The tournament was played on a par-72, 5,857-yard course.

Lily Vardaman led the Hawks with a 19th-place finish after posting a three-round total of 250 (+34). Vardaman opened the tournament with an 86 before carding an 88 in round two and closing strong with a tournament-best 76 in the final round. She finished the event with three birdies and 27 pars.

Addi Eades followed closely behind, tying for 21st overall with a total score of 252 (+36). Eades turned in rounds of 85, 88, and 79 across the three rounds while recording two birdies and 21 pars.

Laci Novosel added another solid showing for Quincy, tying for 29th place with a three-round total of 258 (+42). Novosel opened the event with an 82 before posting rounds of 87 and 89 to close the tournament.

Ellissa Warren finished 47th overall with rounds of 88, 90, and 94 for a total of 272 (+56), while Payton Miller rounded out the Hawks' scoring lineup in 48th place after carding rounds of 86, 94, and 95 for a 275 (+59).

Competing as individuals, Kiley Torres finished tied for 32nd overall with rounds of 87, 88, and 84 for a three-round total of 259 (+43). Maddie O'Brien also competed individually and placed 49th with rounds of 88, 94, and 94 for a 276 (+60), recording two birdies and 12 pars during the tournament.

The Hawks will return to action March 30–31 when they travel to Bolingbrook, Illinois, for the Flyers Spring Invitational at Bolingbrook Golf Club.
