Massey Claims Toyota Star of the Week After Record-Setting Finish at Cedar Valley Invite

QUINCY, Ill. – After another dominant weekend on the lanes, Nathan Massey has been named Quincy University's Toyota Star of the Week, continuing what has quickly become one of the most impressive individual seasons in program history.

The sophomore helped lead Quincy men's bowling to a fourth-place finish out of 20 teams at the Cedar Valley Invite, delivering one of the tournament's top individual performances against a stacked field of nearly 200 competitors.

Massey placed fourth overall out of 193 bowlers, knocking down 706 pins across three games for an outstanding 235.3 average. His consistency and scoring power earned him a spot on the all-tournament team for the third time this season.

That honor carries even more weight historically, as Massey's three all-tournament selections set a new Quincy men's bowling program record for most individual all-tournament nominations in a single season.

The St. Peters, Missouri, native has been a steady force at the top of the Hawks' lineup all year, continuing to anchor the team with high scores in pressure moments while helping Quincy remain competitive against some of the top programs in the region.

Massey and the Hawks return to action February 7–8 when they travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for the Kohawk Invite, hosted by Coe College at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.
