Biography

2024-25 (Freshman): In his first season with the Hawks, Massey was fourth on the team with a 199.406 pin average through 32 games. He had a first-place finish during the Eagle Invitational, where he knocked down 1140 pins across five games for an average of 228 pins per game. He also had a top-25 finish during his collegiate debut at the Hammer Golden Eagle Invite, where he had an average of 213.8 pins per game across five games for a total of 1069 pins.

Personal: Massey comes to Quincy as a dual-sport athlete, playing for the men's soccer and bowling teams. He comes from St. Peters, Missouri, where he attended Fort Zumwalt High School, having a great academic and athletic career as a Lion. Nathan was an all-state soccer player, along with being all-region three times. He also has multiple records, including the most points and assists in soccer and the longest field goal kicked in school history for the football team. In the classroom, Massey obtained the Seal of Bi-literacy in Spanish. Outside of his athletics, he enjoys watching his favorite athlete, Lionel Messi, and his favorite team, Manchester United. Nathan is the son of Angela and Steven Massey.

Why QU?
I chose QU for a multitude of reasons. Quincy gave me plenty of scholarship opportunities, a degree opportunity that I wanted to pursue, and the option to minor in Spanish. Quincy also gave me the opportunity to play multiple sports at the collegiate level.
