INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Quincy men's golf team played at the UIndy Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. Jack Driscoll and Griffin Taylor led the way for the Hawks as the team finished in 13th out of a field of 14 teams. The Hawks finished +31 with three rounds consisting of 304-296-295, totaling 895. The Broadmoor Country Club plays as a par 72, 6,904 yards, and has an average score of 73.

Jack Driscoll started the Hawks out with a round of 75. Driscoll finished the next two rounds strong with a 74, highlighted by an impressive eagle on a 509-yard par 5. His final round was solid, capturing seven birdies and a remarkable 30 on the front nine and 41 on the back to finish in red numbers with a 71. Driscoll led the way for the Hawks, finishing in 38th place.

Griffin Taylor initiated the tournament with an impressive 73, leading the Hawks in the first round. Taylor's next two rounds consisted of a 76 and finished with a steady final round tallying 14 pars for a 73. Taylor finished the tournament in 51st place. David Gartrell finished third for the Hawks and finished in 65th, shooting a 226 across three rounds, with his best coming during his final round, where he shot a 74.

Colton Barr and Colby Robetson rounded out the Hawks' lineup. Colton finished his second round with a 72. Colton put up rounds of 79-72-79 to finish the tournament in 75th place. Colby's best round was also his second, recording a 75 to finish the tournament with rounds of 81-75-77 to finish in 77th place.

The Hawks will return to action on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 29-30) at the Midwest Collegiate in Peru, Indiana, competing at Rock Hollow Golf Club.
