Biography

2025-26 (Freshman): Barr competed in three tournaments during his freshman season with the Hawks, totaling nine rounds. He finished the year with 722 strokes and averaged 80.2 strokes per round.

Barr made his collegiate debut at the UIndy Fall Invitational (9/22-23/25), where he carded his low round of the season with a 72. His top finish came at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational (3/11-12/26), where he tied for 37th out of 59 golfers.

Personal: Colton Barr comes to Quincy University from Jacksonville, Illinois, where he was a two-time state qualifier at Jacksonville High School. He is the son of Ryan and Barbara Davidsmeyer and has one sibling, Emrick Davidsmeyer. Away from competition, Barr looks up to his favorite athlete, Jordan Spieth, and is a fan of the New Orleans Saints.
