INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Quincy University women's cross country team was picked 13th in the 2025 GLVC Women's Cross Country Preseason Poll, the league office announced Wednesday.
The Hawks return under the direction of second-year head coach Ryan Palm, who continues to develop the program with a mix of experienced runners and new faces. Quincy brings back four returners from last season, adds one transfer, and welcomes two freshmen to the roster for the fall.
Lewis was voted the preseason favorite after claiming its sixth GLVC Championship in 2024 and placing sixth nationally. Southwest Baptist, Illinois Springfield, and Truman State rounded out the league's top four.
Quincy will open its season on Friday, September 5, at the UIS Prairie Star Invitational in Springfield, Illinois.
