Quincy University Women’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season at Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament

CASEYVILLE, Ill. - The Quincy University women's golf team concluded its fall season at the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament in Caseyville, Illinois, held at Far Oaks Golf Club and hosted by rival McKendree University. The competitive field featured 11 teams, with the Lady Hawks finishing seventh overall after posting team rounds of 334–325–324 for a 983 total.

The Quincy University women's golf team concluded its fall season at the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament in Caseyville, Illinois, held at Far Oaks Golf Club and hosted by rival McKendree University. The competitive field featured 11 teams, with the Lady Hawks finishing seventh overall after posting team rounds of 334–325–324 for a 983 total.

Lily Vardaman led the way for the Hawks with an impressive opening round of 82 (36–46), highlighted by 11 pars and a birdie on the 380-yard, par-4 fifth hole. She followed up with a stellar second round of 75, which included a birdie on the 134-yard, par-3 eighth. Vardaman capped off her tournament with a 76 in the final round to finish with a three-day total of 233, earning a fifth-place finish.

Ellissa Warren turned in a steady first round, carding matching 41s on the front and back nine for an opening 82. She maintained her consistency in round two with another 82, collecting 11 pars throughout the day. Warren closed out the event with an 84 in the final round to place 36th overall.

Addi Eades rounded out Quincy's top three with an opening 88, then improved to an 84 in round two. She capped off her tournament in style, recording an eagle on the par-5, 500-yard ninth hole en route to a final-round 80, finishing with a three-round total of 252 and placing tied for 41st overall.

Laci Novosel opened with a strong 84, featuring two birdies—one on the 467-yard par-5 and another on the 134-yard par-3 eighth. She matched that performance with back-to-back 84s in rounds two and three, demonstrating consistent play throughout the tournament. Novosel finished with a three-day total of 252 and tied for 41st overall.

Payton Miller recorded an opening 86, highlighted by five pars, followed by a 94 in round two. She wrapped up the event with a 95 in the final round for a three-day total of 275, finishing 59th overall.

The Lady Hawks wrapped up a strong fall campaign with continued growth and consistency across the lineup. Quincy will now turn its attention to the spring season, aiming to build on its momentum and carry this progress into championship play.
