After his groups final home meet of the season coach
Bryan Christiansen was upbeat and optimistic about the upcoming playoffs, "That is what we call an old-fashioned shellacking!" Christiansen joked, "Despite the score we had some really solid races from a handful of people that set us up well for the GLVC Championship."
Coach Christiansen understands that this is a process and building up a solid program takes time, but he's very excited about how far this group has already come "We can hang with them, I'm excited that we are at a quarter of our strength and will keep adding from here."
With just the playoff schedule remaining, Christiansen is pleased that his team will now have some time to rest before the postseason begins, "We are pretty beat up from training but ready to rest and get after our last few weeks of the season. It's still a great day to be a Hawk!"
The Hawks won't be in action again until Wednesday (Feb. 9) for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship meet.
