QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University men's and women's swimming programs have released their 2026-27 schedule as the Hawks look to continue building momentum under head coach
Bryan Christiansen.
The 2026-27 season will mark the fifth year of competition for the men's program and the seventh season all-time for the women's program. The men are coming off one of the strongest seasons in program history after finishing 5-2 in dual action, placing a program-best fifth at the GLVC Championships and sending two All-Americans to the NCAA Championships. The women finished 2-5 in dual action and recorded their best GLVC Championships finish since the program's return during the 2016-17 season.
Christiansen enters his fifth season leading the Hawks as both programs continue to take steps forward in the pool.

The Hawks open the season on the road against Truman State, a GLVC opponent both programs saw success against last season.
On the women's side, Quincy is 1-4 all-time against Truman State after earning its first win over the Bulldogs last year with a 110.5-94.5 victory at home. Truman State finished ninth at the GLVC Championships last season and went 1-6-1 in dual action.
The Quincy men hold a 2-1 all-time record against Truman State and have won each of the last two meetings, including a dominant 143-62 victory last season at home. The Bulldogs finished 10th at the GLVC Championships and went 1-8 in dual action.

Normal, Illinois | Horton Pool
For the second straight season, the Quincy women will travel to take on Division I Illinois State University. The two programs met for the first time last season, with the Redbirds earning a 180-82 win.
Illinois State finished last season 2-6 in dual action and placed seventh out of nine teams at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.

BOS Aquatic Center
The Quincy men will make their home debut against Missouri S&T, one of the top programs in the GLVC. The Hawks are 0-4 all-time against the Miners, but last season's 125-84 result was the closest margin in the four duals between the programs.
Missouri S&T finished fourth at the GLVC Championships last season, went 8-2 in dual action and placed 19th at the NCAA Championships behind eight All-Americans.

St. Louis, Missouri | UMSL Swimming Pool
Both teams return to GLVC competition with a road trip to Missouri-St. Louis.
The women are 0-3 all-time against the Tritons after falling 180-81 last season. UMSL finished third at the GLVC Championships, went 6-4 in dual action and placed 15th at the NCAA Championships.
The men are 1-2 all-time against UMSL after defeating the Tritons for the first time last season in a 132-130 thriller at home. UMSL finished eighth at the GLVC Championships, went 3-8 in dual action and had one All-American.
Saturday, Oct. 24 | St. Ambrose at Quincy
BOS Aquatic Center
The Hawks return home the following day to host St. Ambrose at the BOS Aquatic Center.
The women are 1-3 all-time against the Fighting Bees and dropped a narrow 111-109 road decision last season. St. Ambrose went on to finish 13th at the NAIA Championships.
The men are 2-2 against St. Ambrose and have won each of the last two meetings, including a 139-75 victory last season. The Fighting Bees finished eighth at the NAIA Championships.
Saturday, Nov. 14 | Quincy at Augustana College
Rock Island, Illinois | Anne Greve Lund Natatorium
The Hawks will travel to Rock Island, Illinois, for the first all-time meeting between Quincy and Augustana College in the pool.
The Augustana men finished 5-3 in dual action last season and captured the CCIW Championship. On the women's side, the Vikings went 7-2 in dual action and finished second at the CCIW Championship.
Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 19-21 | Cardinal Invite
University Center, Michigan | Gerstacker Regional Aquatic Center
Quincy will make its first trip to Michigan to compete in the Cardinal Invite, hosted by Saginaw Valley State University. The multi-day event will give the Hawks an early championship-style opportunity before the winter portion of the schedule.
Saturday, Jan. 9 | Quincy at Southern Illinois
Carbondale, Illinois | Shea Natatorium
The Hawks open the new year with a trip to Southern Illinois University.
The women are 0-1 all-time against the Salukis, with the lone meeting coming in 2024 when SIU earned a 254-39 win. Southern Illinois finished second at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships last season, had one All-American and placed 28th at the NCAA Championships.
The men are also 0-1 against Southern Illinois, with their only meeting coming in 2024 in a 177-75 loss. The Salukis finished third at the MVC Championships last season.
Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 15-17 | Grinnell Invitational
Grinnell, Iowa | Russell K. Osgood Pool and Deck/Natatorium
Both Quincy programs will return to the Grinnell Invitational after competing in the event last season. The men finished seventh out of nine teams, while the women placed seventh out of 11 teams.
The multi-day invitational will serve as one of the final tune-ups before the Hawks close the dual schedule and shift their attention toward the GLVC Championships.

Quincy closes the regular-season dual schedule at home against William Jewell.
The women are 0-4 all-time against the Cardinals after falling 125-78 last season. William Jewell went 6-2-1 in dual action and finished seventh at the GLVC Championships.
The men are 2-2 all-time against William Jewell and have won each of the last two meetings, including a 120-84 victory last season. The Cardinals finished 6-4 in dual action and placed ninth at the GLVC Championships.

Evansville, Indiana | Deaconess Aquatic Center
The season will once again build toward the GLVC Championships, held Feb. 8-13 at the Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Indiana.
Both Quincy programs are coming off program-changing performances at last year's conference meet. The men recorded their highest GLVC finish in program history, while the women posted their best conference finish since the program returned in 2016-17. With both teams continuing to grow, the Hawks will look to take another step forward on the conference stage in 2026-27.
