EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Quincy University swimmers
Wyatt Walsh and
Haniel Kudwoli have been selected to represent the Hawks at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving National Championships, scheduled for March 10–14 at the Deaconess Aquatic Center in Evansville, Indiana.
Senior
Wyatt Walsh returns to the national stage for the second consecutive season after making program history in 2024, becoming Quincy's first swimming All-American with a sixth-place finish in the 400 IM. Walsh qualified in two individual events, posting entry times of 3:51.78 in the 400 IM and 1:46.64 in the 200 IM, and will also compete in the 100 freestyle and 500 freestyle at the national meet.
Joining Walsh is freshman
Haniel Kudwoli, who will make his first appearance at the national meet in his debut collegiate season. The Kenyan native qualified in the 100 breaststroke with an entry time of 53.98.
The two Hawks will spend the coming weeks preparing to compete on the sport's biggest stage, with Walsh aiming to secure All-American honors once again and Kudwoli looking to make an immediate impact in his national championship debut.
