KANSAS CITY, MO. – The Quincy University Women's Golf team teed off their fall season on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1 at the Rockhurst University Fall Invitational. The Hawks were one of five teams competing. As a team they placed 4
th with a two-day total of 675 (341-334).
Karlie Schnepp was the individual champion by a stroke with a 152 total. She shot an 80 in the opening round, and followed that up with an even par 72 in the final round.
Lily Vardaman recorded a top 10 finish in her first career tournament with a 163 (84-79).
Hannah Maguire tied for 20
th with rounds of 83-96 for a 179 total.
Natalie Dearwester saw a seven stroke improvement from round one to round two as she went 94-87. Rounding out the Hawks lineup was
Haley Cramer shooting a 220 (109-111).
The Hawks are back on the course at the University of Illinois – Springfield Invitational on Tuesday (September 6) at Panther Creek Country Club.
