COAL VALLEY, IL – The Quincy University women's golf team traveled to Oakwood Country Club to compete in the GLVC Championships this past weekend (Apr. 26–27). Facing a talented field and battling tough conditions, the Hawks earned a 10th-place finish out of 13 teams, posting a three-round team score of 1002 (333–339–330).

Karlie Schnepp led Quincy with a strong individual showing, firing rounds of 82, 84, and closing with a stellar 76 to tie for 20th place with a 242 total. Lily Vardaman followed closely behind, tying for 39th with rounds of 84, 79, and 87 (250 total).

Laci Novosel continued her steady play, tying for 41st after carding rounds of 83, 87, and 81 (251 overall). Addi Eades added to the team effort, finishing 57th with scores of 84, 91, and 86 (261 total). Kiley Torres placed 51st, turning in rounds of 91, 84, and a strong 80 (255 total), while Ellissa Warren finished 61st after rounds of 88, 89, and 87 (264 total).

The Hawks showed strong resilience across the three rounds, fighting through each day's challenges and putting together one of their most competitive performances of the season. Quincy will now turn its focus toward the offseason as they prepare for an even stronger showing next year.
