INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Quincy University closed out the Great Lakes Valley Conference academic awards week with 24 student-athletes earning the GLVC Council of Presidents' Academic Excellence Award.
The honorees of the GLVC Council of Presidents' Academic Excellence Award exemplify the outstanding student-athletes in the conference. Each recipient has exhausted their eligibility in the intercollegiate sport in which they participated and maintained at least a 3.50 grade point average throughout their academic career.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have competed in the GLVC for a minimum of two years and completed 96 credit hours. A student-athlete can only earn the distinguished honor one time in their career.
Quincy's 24 recipients represented 10 programs, with Women's Lacrosse leading the way with six honorees. Baseball and Men's Swimming each followed with three selections, while Men's Golf, Softball, Women's Soccer, Women's Swimming, and Women's Tennis each had two student-athletes recognized.
