INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Quincy University baseball pitcher Rocco Conrad has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon. The honor marks the first Pitcher of the Week award of Conrad's career and the first for a Quincy pitcher since Kade Ruffner earned the recognition on May 5, 2025.

Conrad delivered a dominant outing in the second game of Quincy's series against Truman, tossing a seven-inning complete-game shutout to lead the Hawks to victory. The performance marked the first complete-game shutout of Conrad's collegiate career and his second straight complete game.

The right-hander scattered five hits and two walks across seven innings while striking out 10 batters, keeping the Truman offense off balance throughout the contest. The outing improved Conrad to 3-0 on the season and helped extend the Hawks' momentum during their current winning stretch.

Conrad and the Hawks will continue GLVC play this week with a four-game series against Missouri S&T. Quincy will look to extend its seven-game winning streak when the series opens on Friday, March 13, with first pitch scheduled for 2:00 PM.
