INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced Monday that Quincy University's
Isaiah Fudge has been named GLVC Player of the Week after a dominant weekend at the plate in the Hawks' four-game sweep of Roosevelt inside QU Stadium.
Quincy's offense erupted for a staggering 74 runs during the series, and Fudge played a central role in the offensive explosion. The junior turned in a remarkable .625 batting average (10-for-16) while drawing four walks to post an impressive .667 on-base percentage. He delivered extra-base power with two doubles and a home run, finishing the weekend with a .938 slugging percentage.
Fudge drove in 12 runs and crossed the plate 11 times, while also adding a stolen base. His standout performance came in the opening game of the series, when he went 5-for-6 with a double, five runs scored, and five RBIs to set the tone for the sweep.
The honor marks the first GLVC Player of the Week award of Fudge's career and the first for Quincy since
Matt Mateo earned the recognition on March 31, 2025.
