WICHITA, Kan. – The Quincy University track and field teams traveled to Wichita, Kansas, to compete in the Ichabod Invite hosted by Washburn University, highlighted by school records from
Katie Park and
Dominick Ricci.
Park continued her standout indoor season by breaking her own school record in the 800-meter run, crossing the finish line in 2:18.72 to set a new program benchmark. While on the men's side, Ricci continued to hit strides in the high jump, posting a new school record of 1.90 meters.
The Hawks recorded several strong performances across the meet. On the men's side, Quincy placed two athletes inside the top eight of the triple jump.
Jack Thompson led the way with a fifth-place finish after a leap of 14.51 meters, while
Jerron Baker followed in seventh place with a mark of 14.53 meters.
Quincy competed in a full slate of events throughout the meet, continuing to build momentum as the indoor season progresses.

The Hawks return to action Friday, February 20, traveling to Jacksonville, Illinois, for the Hilltop Classic inside King Fieldhouse hosted by Illinois College.
