Match 1 – #4 Indianapolis vs. #5 Quincy

The Hawks and Greyhounds met earlier this season in Quincy, with Indianapolis earning a 28-9 victory. However, the dual featured several tightly contested bouts that could swing differently in a tournament setting.

Key Results from the First Meeting: Several swing matches were decided by one possession, including a tiebreaker at 184 and narrow decisions at 141, 165, and 197. In postseason wrestling, bonus points and tight finishes often determine advancement.

Championship Path

If Quincy advances, the Hawks would face No. 1-seeded McKendree at 11:30 AM. The Bearcats are ranked No. 8 nationally with seven ranked wrestlers and defeated Quincy 25-20 earlier this season in a tightly contested dual.

On the opposite side of the bracket, No. 3 Maryville meets No. 6 seed Drury at 10:00 AM, with the winner advancing to face No. 2 seed Upper Iowa at 11:30 AM.

Placement matches will follow:
