Rheinheimer Earns GLVC Offensive Player of the Week

QUINCY, Ill. – Quincy University women's soccer senior, Rebecca Rheinheimer, has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference offensive player of the week following a standout two-game stretch that featured five goals, including a hat trick in Sunday's performance against Lincoln University.

The honor marks Rheinheimer's first GLVC Offensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season and the third of her career with the Hawks.

She previously earned the conference's offensive weekly honor twice during the 2025 season, continuing to establish herself as one of the premier offensive players in the GLVC.

Rheinheimer opened the week with a two-goal performance against Upper Iowa on Wednesday, October 14th. The senior found the back of the net twice while playing 82 minutes, helping lead Quincy to a record-breaking night.

Rheinheimer's two goals also brought her closer to another major career milestone as she continued to build on her scoring production in a Quincy uniform.

She saved her most explosive performance for Sunday, against Lincoln.

Rheinheimer recorded a hat trick in under 20 minutes, delivering three goals in a dominant offensive showing despite playing just 61 minutes. Her quick scoring burst helped power the Hawks' attack and capped an outstanding week for the senior.

Scoring three times in such a short span highlighted her finishing ability and impact in the attacking third.

Across the two contests, Rheinheimer totaled five goals, contributing a major share of Quincy's offensive production. Her performance against Lincoln was the highlight of the week, and with her effort from Sunday, she now has 25 goals in a Hawk uniform.

Rheinheimer's production has also placed her among the conference's leading scorers. She currently ranks second in the GLVC with 15 goals and sits second in the conference with 32 points, averaging 2.00 points per game.

Her ability to consistently find scoring opportunities and turn them into goals has made her a key part of Quincy's offensive success throughout the season.

With five goals in two games and another conference honor added to her résumé, Rheinheimer continues to make her mark in her senior season. The latest recognition reflects both her recent scoring surge and the impact she has made for the Hawks throughout her Quincy career.
