QUINCY, Ill. - The Hawks men's wrestling team remained unbeaten in dual action, rolling past NAIA opponent St. Ambrose University by a 41–9 margin to improve to 6–0 on the season.
Quincy picked up bonus points in eight of the ten bouts, highlighted by falls from
Brian Farley at 125 pounds and
Mac Chambers at 174. The Hawks also added four technical falls on the night, coming from
Sabian Russell (149),
Callan Ivy (184),
Judah Yates (197), and
Isaiah Nichols (157), while
Caleb Groff closed the dual with a decisive 16–2 major decision at heavyweight.
Quincy also earned a forfeit victory at 165 pounds, further extending the team's advantage as the Hawks controlled the dual from start to finish.
The Hawks will be back in action on January 9, traveling to Marshall, Minnesota, for the Iron Mike Duals.
