ST. LOUIS, MO – The Quincy University women's golf team battled through three competitive rounds at the UMSL Spring Invitational, held over the Sunday and Monday (Apr. 13-14). Facing a strong 18-team field, the Hawks posted a team score of 960 (325-314-321), securing a 12th-place finish. The tournament featured a deep field of 96 individual competitors, providing a valuable test as the team builds momentum heading into the final competition of the season.
Karlie Schnepp led the Hawks individually, turning in a three-round total of 237 (75-80-82) to finish tied for 39th. Addison Eades and Lily Vardaman followed closely behind, each carding a 240 to tie for 52nd. Eades steadily improved across the rounds (83-76-81), while Vardaman closed strong with a 76 in the final round after opening with 81-83. Laci Novosel bounced back from a tough start to finish 74th overall at 252 (94-75-83). Ellissa Warren rounded out the team effort, tying for 83rd with a total score of 258 (86-90-82).
The Hawks will take flight one last time in the 2025 season at the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship tournament at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, IL. From Saturday to Monday (Apr. 26-28).
