Lockport, Ill. - The Quincy University women's bowling team traveled to Lockport, Illinois, for the Flyer Classic on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 7-8). The women finished 22nd after knocking down 5,969 pins over ten games.

Hannah Herdklotz led the way for the Hawks, totaling 937 pins over five games for a 187.4 per-game average. Not too far behind was Hayden Bennett, who had a total pinfall of 888 over five games. Dual sport athlete Selin Turgut finished third on the team with a total of 459 pins, with Samantha Hansen right behind her with a pinfall of 455. Rounding out the Hawks was Pinar Dugeroglu, who finished with 339 pins.

The women's bowling team will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Big Red Invite hosted by the University of Nebraska. It will be a three day event beginning February 21st.
