Macomb, Ill. - The Quincy University men's bowling team competed at the Leatherneck Classic this weekend (Nov. 11-12). The Hawks placed 22nd out of a competitive 44-team mix with
Anthony Lundy finishing top for the Hawks at 52nd place.
Lundy had a 197.4 game average this weekend, accumulating 987 points over five games.
Connor Meegan was just three places behind him with a score of 788 over four games. Junior
Parker Lymenstull and sophomore
Cayden Thoms also bowled four games each, finishing with 709 and 651 scores respectively.
Brenden Unseld finished with a 321 score over two games while
Caden Witt and
Zakery Grosvenor finished with 526 and 515 scores respectively over three games.
The team finished with 4497 points and a 2733 Baker's round score to finish with 7230 total points. The Hawks averaged 881.7 points per game.
The Hawks will travel down to Lebanon, Illinois, with the women's team to compete at the Team Match Games hosted by McKendree University.
