CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Quincy University men's bowling team opened Tier One competition at the 54th Annual Brunswick Midwest Collegiate Classic, held October 4–5 at Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township, Michigan. The Hawks finished 31st in a deep 51-team field, knocking down 7,684 total pins across the weekend.
Cayden Thoms led the Hawks with a five-game total of 963, averaging 192.6 for the weekend.
Tyler Wojcik followed with 759 pins over four games for a 189.8 average, while
Kaden Summers contributed 753 pins across four games to average 188.3.
Zakery Grosvenor added 724 pins in four games, averaging 181.0, and
Connor Meegan recorded 643 pins with a 160.8 average.
Nathan Robbins chipped in with 309 pins across two games for a 154.5 average, and
Trevor Dodd turned in the team's best single-block effort, rolling 447 pins in just two games to average an impressive 223.5.
Despite the tough Tier One field, Quincy's bowlers showed promise with consistent scoring throughout the lineup and valuable experience gained against elite competition. The Hawks will be back in action October 18–19 in Wichita, Kansas, competing in another Tier One test at the Mid-States Championship.
