Biography
2024-25 (Senior): In two events and eight games, Unseld averaged 175.375 pins per game as a senior. He had his best performance of the season during the 2025 Intercollegiate Singles Sectional Qualifier, where he knocked down 1075 pins across six games for an average of 179.167 pins per game.
2023-24 (Junior): In his junior year, Unseld saw 16 total games through six events, bowling an average of 173.5 pins per game. He saw one top-25 finish, which came during the Titan Invitational, where he finished 15th out of 126 bowlers. In the Titan Invitational, Unseld bowled five games, knocking down a season-high 965 total pins, giving him a 193.0 pins per game.
2022-23 (Sophomore): In his second season, Unseld saw an improvement in his average in slightly fewer games. In seven events and 20 total games, Brenden bowled an average of 169.95.Â
2021-22 (Freshman): During the Hawk's inaugural season, Unseld bowled in all six events with a 165.194 average through 31Â total games. His best performance of the season came during the Leatherneck Classic, where he placed 87th out of 385 bowlers. Through six games, Unseld knocked down a season-high 1191 pins, giving him an average of 198.5 pins per game.
Personal:Â Unseld comes to Quincy from Hudsonville, Michigan, where he attended Hudsonville High School. Outside of bowling, he enjoys fishing and disc golfing. Brenden is the son of Debra and Dave Unseld and the brother of his three siblings, Faith, Kerstin, and Maddie.
