Men's Golf Wraps Up at Music City Invitational

OLD HICKORY, TN. – The Quincy University men's golf team wrapped up play at the Music City Invitational hosted by Trevecca Nazarene on Monday and Tuesday (March 15-16). The Hawks finished 16th after battling tough playing conditions on the first day while host Trevecca Nazarene won the event. 

Quincy finished with a team stroke count of 636 and were led by Nick Messinger. Messinger shot a 76 on both days of the tournament and finished eight over par. 

Trevecca held off Northwood to win the event after trailing by three strokes after the first day. The host team won the event with a final tally of 569 and were seven under par in the two-day invitaional. 

Ashland's Beau Beryl had the best individual two-round score as he went nine under for the tournament with a score of 68 on day one and a 67 on day two. 

The Hawks will be back on the links on April 12th and 13th when they host the QCC/QU Invitational at the Quincy Country Club.
