QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University men's wrestling program has released its 2026-27 schedule as the Hawks prepare for their fifth season in program history under head coach Jimmy Eggemeyer.
Quincy is coming off a 10-9 dual season in 2025-26, including a 1-4 mark in Great Lakes Valley Conference action. The Hawks finished fifth at the GLVC Tournament, placed sixth out of 11 teams at the NCAA Division II Regional #4, and sent one wrestler to the NCAA Division II National Championships.
Entering year five, the Hawks will look to continue building after one of the strongest finishes in program history while still searching for the first All-American in program history.
The 2026-27 schedule features seven tournaments and 14 duals, including five GLVC matchups.

The Hawks will open the season at the Luther Hill Open, hosted by Simpson College. It will mark the third straight season Quincy has opened the year at the event.

Quincy will continue the tournament portion of the schedule at the Luther College Open. The Hawks are set to compete in the event for the third time in program history.

The Hawks will then travel to Central Missouri for the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open. Quincy has competed in the event every season since the start of the program.

Quincy opens the dual portion of the schedule with its first home dual of the season against Upper Iowa inside Pepsi Arena.
The Hawks are 0-3 all-time against the Peacocks after falling 46-0 last season in Fayette. Upper Iowa finished last season 7-6 in duals and 4-1 in GLVC action. The Peacocks placed third at the GLVC Tournament, seventh at the NCAA Super Region V and had one national qualifier.

The Hawks will face a major early-season test on the road against Grand Valley State. Quincy is 0-3 all-time against GVSU after falling 42-5 last season at a neutral site.
Grand Valley State finished last season 9-6 in duals and ended the year ranked fourth in the final men's rankings. GVSU placed second at NCAA Super Region 3, finished 12th out of 49 teams at the NCAA Championships and had eight national qualifiers and three All-Americans.

Quincy will return to the North Central Open for the third time in program history and the first time since the 2023-24 season. The event is hosted by North Central College.

The Hawks will close the first semester at one of the biggest regular-season events in Division II wrestling. Hosted by Indianapolis, the Midwest Classic annually brings together some of the top teams and wrestlers in the country. Quincy finished 21st out of 47 teams at last year's event.
Monday, Jan. 4 | Quincy at St. Ambrose

The Hawks will open the new year on the road against NAIA opponent St. Ambrose.
The two programs met for the first time last season inside Pepsi Arena, with Quincy earning a dominant 41-9 win. St. Ambrose finished 5-11 in duals last season and had three wrestlers represented at the NAIA National Championships.

Quincy will compete at the Missouri Baptist Open for the second time in program history.
Sunday, Jan. 10 | Iron Mike Duals

The Hawks will compete at the Iron Mike Duals for the second straight season. The event is hosted by Southwest Minnesota State and is expected to feature a strong field that includes Sioux Falls, Fort Hays State, Maryville, Minot State, Northern State and Augustana.
Quincy went 2-2 at the event last season, earning wins over Fort Hays State and host Southwest Minnesota State.

The Hawks begin a stretch of four straight GLVC duals at home against Indianapolis.
The Greyhounds finished last season 5-8 in duals, placed fourth at the GLVC Tournament, fourth at the NCAA Division II Regional #4 and 24th out of 49 teams at the NCAA Championships.
Quincy is 0-6 all-time against UIndy. The teams met twice last season, with the Greyhounds winning 28-9 in Indianapolis before defeating the Hawks 41-6 at the GLVC Tournament.
Saturday, Jan. 23 | Quincy at Drury

Quincy continues GLVC action on the road against Drury.
The Hawks are 2-4 all-time against the Panthers but won both meetings last season. Quincy defeated Drury 27-12 in Springfield during the regular season before earning a 30-17 win inside Pepsi Arena at the GLVC Tournament.
Drury finished last season 2-13 in duals and 0-5 in GLVC action. The Panthers placed sixth at the GLVC Tournament, ninth at Super Region IV and had one national qualifier.
Wednesday, Jan. 27 | Maryville at Quincy

The final home dual of the season will come against Maryville inside Pepsi Arena.
The Saints finished last season 11-10 in duals and 3-2 in the GLVC. Maryville placed second at the GLVC Tournament, fifth at Super Region IV and had three national qualifiers and two All-Americans.
Quincy is 0-4 all-time against Maryville after falling 32-11 inside Pepsi Arena last season.

The Hawks close the GLVC dual schedule on the road against McKendree, one of the top programs in the country.
Quincy is 0-4 all-time against the Bearcats but nearly broke through last season in a 25-20 thriller inside Pepsi Arena.
McKendree finished last season ranked sixth in the country after going 16-5 in duals and 5-0 in conference action. The Bearcats won the GLVC Tournament, placed third at Super Region IV, had five national qualifiers, five All-Americans, two national champions and finished third at the NCAA Division II Championships.

Quincy will return to Indianapolis for the Greyhound Duals, hosted by UIndy. The dual schedule has not been announced, but the event is expected to feature several strong programs.
The Hawks went 1-2 at last year's Greyhound Duals and faced two top-10 teams.

The postseason begins at the GLVC Tournament, hosted by Upper Iowa. The Hawks finished fifth at last year's conference tournament and will look to continue climbing in one of the toughest wrestling conferences in Division II.

Quincy will compete at the NCAA Division II Regional #4, hosted by Indianapolis, with national championship spots on the line.
The Hawks finished sixth out of 11 teams at last year's regional and sent one wrestler to the NCAA Division II National Championships. Quincy will look to build on that performance and continue its push toward the program's first All-American.
With a challenging schedule featuring nationally ranked opponents, loaded open tournaments and another tough GLVC slate, the Hawks will have plenty of opportunities to test themselves throughout the 2026-27 season. Entering year five under Eggemeyer, Quincy will look to build on last year's progress and take another step forward as a program.
