QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University men's soccer program has released its 2026 schedule as the Hawks prepare for year 15 under head coach Mike Carpenter.

Quincy is coming off its best season since the 2020-21 campaign after finishing 8-7-3 overall and 6-6-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play last season. The Hawks secured the No. 8 seed in the GLVC Tournament before falling to top-seeded and nationally ranked Rockhurst 2-1 in the quarterfinals.

The 2026 schedule features three non-conference matchups to open the season before the Hawks jump into a 14-game GLVC slate.

Thursday, Aug. 27 | Quincy at Parkside

The Hawks open the 2026 season on the road against Parkside in a matchup that has become a consistent part of the schedule, both as conference and non-conference opponents over the years.

The series has been as even as possible, with the two programs holding an 18-18-1 record against each other dating back to 1971. Prior to last season, Parkside had won five straight meetings, but Quincy made a statement in the 2025 season opener with a 5-0 win at Legends Stadium.

Parkside finished last season 5-5-6 overall and 5-3-4 in GLIAC play.

Saturday, Aug. 29 | St. Cloud State at Quincy

Quincy's home opener comes against St. Cloud State after the two programs met for the first time last season in Minnesota. That matchup ended in a 1-1 draw. The Huskies were in their fifth season as a program last year and finished 4-12-1 overall and 2-10 in GLIAC play.

Wednesday, Sept. 2 | Purdue Northwest at Quincy

The Hawks close the non-conference portion of the schedule at home against Purdue Northwest. Quincy traveled to Hammond, Indiana, last season and earned a 3-1 win over the Pride, making it two straight victories in the series.

Dating back to 2018, the Hawks hold a 4-2-1 record against Purdue Northwest. The Pride finished last season 3-12-3 overall and 2-8-2 in the GLIAC.

Saturday, Sept. 5 | Quincy at McKendree

Quincy opens GLVC play on the road against McKendree. The Bearcats finished last season 10-6-5 overall and 8-2-4 in conference play, placing third in the GLVC standings. McKendree advanced to the GLVC Championship match before falling to Maryville 2-1, then lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Hawks and Bearcats met in Quincy in the final regular-season match last year, playing to a 1-1 draw. Dating back to 2005, Quincy leads the series 9-5-4, but the Hawks are looking for their first win over McKendree since the 2020-21 season.

Wednesday, Sept. 9 | Indianapolis at Quincy

The Hawks return to Legends Stadium for their GLVC home opener against Indianapolis. Quincy went on the road last season and defeated the Greyhounds 2-1, snapping a five-game losing streak in the series and earning its first win in Indianapolis since 2015.

The Greyhounds finished 11-6-3 overall and 8-4-2 in the GLVC last season while making their 13th straight GLVC Tournament appearance. UIndy fell in the opening round of the conference tournament, but earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament, where it picked up a first-round win before falling to top-seeded Fort Hays State in the second round.

Saturday, Sept. 12 | Missouri S&T at Quincy

Quincy hosts Missouri S&T in the second home conference match of the season. The Hawks have controlled the all-time series against the Miners, holding a 17-5-4 record dating back to 1984.

Missouri S&T did get the better of Quincy last season, earning a 1-0 win at Legends Stadium. It marked just the second time the Hawks have lost at home to the Miners. S&T finished last season 9-6-3 overall and 7-4-3 in GLVC play, earning the No. 7 seed in the conference tournament before falling in the first round.

Wednesday, Sept. 16 | Quincy at Lewis

The Hawks travel to Romeoville, Illinois, to take on Lewis in a midweek conference matchup. The Flyers missed the GLVC Tournament last season for the first time in five years after finishing 5-6-7 overall and 4-6-4 in conference play.

One of Lewis' wins came against Quincy, as the Flyers defeated the Hawks 1-0 in Romeoville. Dating back to 1997, Lewis leads the series 15-11-3 and has won six of the last 10 meetings.

Saturday, Sept. 19 | Quincy at Rockhurst

Quincy will get an early GLVC Tournament rematch when it travels to Kansas City to take on Rockhurst at Bourke Field.

Rockhurst ended the Hawks' season last year with a 2-1 win in the GLVC quarterfinals. The Hawks of Rockhurst won the GLVC regular-season title after finishing 12-5-4 overall and 10-1-3 in conference play. Rockhurst later fell in the GLVC semifinals before making the NCAA Tournament, where it advanced to the third round before falling to Fort Hays State.

Dating back to 1998, Rockhurst leads the series 20-10-5 and has won three straight meetings.

Wednesday, Sept. 23 | Illinois Springfield at Quincy

The Hawks return home to face Illinois Springfield after spoiling the Prairie Stars' homecoming last season with a 2-0 road win. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak to UIS.

Dating back to 1978, Quincy has controlled the series with a 24-12-2 record, including a 12-4-1 mark at Legends Stadium. Illinois Springfield finished last season 3-11-3 overall and 2-10-2 in the GLVC, placing last in the conference and snapping a streak of eight straight GLVC Tournament appearances.

Saturday, Sept. 26 | William Jewell at Quincy

Quincy continues its homestand against William Jewell. The Hawks defeated the Cardinals 2-0 last season and hold a 5-1 record against William Jewell at Legends Stadium dating back to 2011.

The Cardinals finished last season 3-10-4 overall and 2-8-4 in conference play, placing 13th in the GLVC standings.

Wednesday, Sept. 30 | Quincy at Missouri-St. Louis

The Hawks close September on the road against Missouri-St. Louis. UMSL just missed the GLVC Tournament last season, finishing ninth in the league standings with a 4-5-5 conference record and a 5-6-6 overall mark.

Quincy defeated the Tritons 1-0 in St. Louis last season and has won seven of the last 10 matchups in the series.

Saturday, Oct. 3 | Quincy at Drury

Quincy opens October on the road against Drury. The Panthers finished sixth in the GLVC last season with an 8-5-5 overall record and a 7-4-3 conference mark, making their fifth straight GLVC Tournament appearance.

Dating back to 2007, the Hawks have dominated the series, holding a 13-4-3 record against the Panthers. Quincy has won two straight meetings, including a 2-0 win last season at Legends Stadium. The Hawks are also 7-2-1 on the road against Drury during that span and have not lost to the Panthers on the road since 2015.

Wednesday, Oct. 7 | Maryville at Quincy

The defending GLVC Tournament champions come to Quincy on Oct. 7 as Maryville visits Legends Stadium.

The Saints won their fourth GLVC Tournament championship last season, claiming the title as the No. 5 seed after finishing 12-6-3 overall and 8-5-1 in conference play. Maryville has made 10 straight GLVC Tournament appearances and has been one of Quincy's toughest matchups in recent years.

Maryville is 9-0-1 in the last 10 matches against Quincy. The Hawks fell 2-1 at home last season and are looking for their first win over the Saints since 2016.

Saturday, Oct. 10 | Southwest Baptist at Quincy

The Hawks host Southwest Baptist on Oct. 10. The Bearcats finished last season 7-9-2 overall and 4-8-2 in the GLVC, placing 11th in the conference standings.

Quincy and SBU played to a 1-1 draw last season, keeping the Hawks unbeaten against the Bearcats dating back to 2013. During that stretch, Quincy holds a 6-0-2 record in the series.

Wednesday, Oct. 14 | Upper Iowa at Quincy

Quincy closes the home portion of the regular season against Upper Iowa. The Hawks defeated the Peacocks 3-0 last season and have won two straight meetings in the series.

Upper Iowa finished last season 4-11-2 overall and 3-9-2 in GLVC play, placing 12th in the conference standings.

Sunday, Oct. 18 | Quincy at Lincoln

The Hawks begin their final road stretch at Lincoln on Oct. 18. The Blue Tigers put together a breakout season last year, going unbeaten in GLVC regular-season play with an 8-0-6 conference record and a 12-2-6 overall mark.

Lincoln finished second in the GLVC standings, advanced to the semifinals in its first GLVC Tournament appearance and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament before falling in the second round. The two teams met for the second time last season, with Lincoln earning a 1-0 home win.

Wednesday, Oct. 21 | Quincy at Truman State

The regular season concludes on the road against Truman State. The Bulldogs finished 14th in the GLVC last season with a 2-10-2 conference record and defeated Quincy 1-0 at Legends Stadium.

Dating back to 1984, Truman State holds a slight edge in the all-time series with a 16-15-4 record. The Bulldogs have won six of the last 10 meetings.

After returning to the GLVC Tournament last season, Quincy will look to take another step forward in 2026 under Carpenter. With a mix of experienced returners and new faces, the Hawks will aim to build on their best campaign since 2020-21 and climb back toward the top half of the GLVC standings.
