INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its 2026 GLVC Men's Basketball postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon, with Quincy University receiving multiple honors. Sophomore
Tiernan Stynes was named Second Team All-GLVC, while
Ethan Bolton earned a spot on the GLVC All-Freshman Team.
Jakeb Wallingford was also recognized as Quincy's GLVC James R. Spaulding Sportsmanship Award honoree.
Stynes earns his first career All-GLVC selection after a breakout season for the Hawks. The sophomore appeared and started in all 28 games, emerging as Quincy's offensive leader throughout the year. Stynes led the team in total points (430), points per game (15.4), field goals made (157), three-pointers made (56), and steals (28), with his total field goals ranking sixth in the conference.
In addition to his scoring production, Stynes contributed across the stat sheet, averaging 5.8 rebounds per game, the third-highest mark on the team, along with 2.4 assists per contest, which ranked second on the roster. He also proved to be one of the conference's most efficient scorers, shooting 49.2 percent from the field, 37.3 percent from three-point range, and 80.0 percent from the free throw line. His field goal percentage ranked fourth in the GLVC.
Stynes reached double figures in scoring in 23 games this season, including eight performances with 20 or more points. He also recorded three double-doubles during the campaign, solidifying his role as one of the league's most consistent performers.
Bolton made an immediate impact in his freshman season, appearing in all 28 games while making 25 starts. The forward averaged 13.1 points per game, the third-highest mark on the team, while leading Quincy with 6.8 rebounds per contest, which ranked ninth in the GLVC. He also added 1.0 assist per game while establishing himself as a reliable presence on the glass.
Bolton was highly efficient offensively, shooting 52.6 percent from the field, the second-best mark on the team and fifth in the GLVC. He also shot 33.3 percent from three-point range and 78.9 percent from the free throw line. On the boards, Bolton tied for the team lead with 52 offensive rebounds while pacing the Hawks with 139 defensive rebounds and 191 total rebounds.
The freshman finished the season with 18 games scoring in double figures, highlighted by a 38-point performance in a road victory over Upper Iowa. He also recorded four double-doubles and posted five games with double-digit rebounds during his debut campaign.
Wallingford was honored with Quincy's GLVC James R. Spaulding Sportsmanship Award, recognizing his commitment to sportsmanship and character both on and off the court throughout the season.
