CHICAGO, Ill. – The Quincy University men's volleyball team continued a challenging early-season stretch on Friday night, facing its third consecutive ranked opponent in a road matchup against No. 7 Loyola University Chicago inside Gentile Arena. The Ramblers earned a straight-set victory, 25–16, 25–14, 25–19, while hitting an impressive .492 for the match.

The Hawks pieced together a short rally late in the set, but a service error halted the push as Loyola secured the frame, 25–14. Quincy finished the set with seven kills, while Loyola recorded 12 kills for the second straight set.

Loyola held a slim lead late, and after a Quincy rally pulled the Hawks within one at 19–18, the Ramblers answered with a kill and a service ace to regain control and close out the match, 25–19.

Larson paced the Hawks with eight kills, while Fenyvesi also finished with eight kills on a team-high 21 total attacks. Pawel Tuz directed the Quincy offense with 20 assists. For Loyola, Aleksandar Sosa led all players with 10 kills, while Aidan Klein added seven kills on .667 hitting.
