2026 (Graduate): Tuz took over as one of the Hawks’ primary setters during his first season at Quincy, appearing in 16 matches with 12 starts and totaling 41 sets played. He led the team with 345 assists and 8.41 assists per set while adding 27 kills, three service aces, 76 digs, and 18 total blocks.
Tuz also totaled 40.0 points and hit .290 on the season. He recorded double-digit assists in 12 matches, including nine with 20 or more and four with 30 or more. His top setting performance came against Roosevelt (3/28/26), where he handed out a season-high 46 assists. Tuz also posted a double-double against Missouri S&T (4/10/26), finishing with 28 assists and 10 digs.
2025 (Junior at Westcliff): Tuz wrapped up his time at Westcliff with another strong season at setter, appearing in 18 matches. He totaled 487 assists, averaging 8.25 assists per set, while adding 23 kills, 18 service aces, 93 digs, and 31 total blocks for 58.0 points.
Tuz recorded one match with 50 or more assists and added three performances with at least 40 assists. He also posted two double-digit dig efforts, highlighted by a season-high 15 digs against UC Merced (4/12/25) in the final match of the season.
2024 (Sophomore at Westcliff): Tuz continued to lead the Westcliff offense during his sophomore season, appearing in 20 matches and 68 sets. He totaled 610 assists, averaging 8.97 assists per set, while adding 40 kills, 13 service aces, 102 digs, and 31 total blocks for 69.5 points.
Tuz recorded five matches with 50 or more assists, including each of the final four contests of the season. He also finished with three double-digit dig performances, highlighted by a season-high 12 digs against Grand View (4/30/24) in the season finale.
2023 (Freshman at Westcliff): Tuz made an immediate impact during his freshman season at Westcliff, appearing in 25 matches and 93 sets. He recorded 811 assists, averaging 8.72 assists per set, while adding 54 kills, 15 service aces, 113 digs, and 37 total blocks for 90.5 points.
Tuz made his collegiate debut against eighth-ranked Park (1/26/23), finishing with 17 assists, one kill, one dig, and four blocks. He handed out a season-high 57 assists in a five-set win over UC Merced (3/10/23), one of three matches on the year where he recorded 50 or more assists.
Personal: Pawel Tuz is from Tychy, Poland, and trained with Akademia Talentów Jastrzebski Wegiel. He is the son of Jacek and Mariola Tuz and has two brothers, Kuba and Szymon. Tuz is a two-time Polish Volleyball Champion and spent three seasons at Westcliff University from 2022–2025 before transferring to QU.
Tuz has gained experience training and competing with several professional teams and players across both the United States and Europe, with aspirations of playing professional volleyball in the future. Outside of the sport, he enjoys playing volleyball, beach volleyball, lifting weights, video games, and spending time with friends. His favorite athletes include Kobe Bryant and Ricardo Santos. He is a fan of Jastrzebski Wegiel and the Los Angeles Lakers.
