MANNHEIM, Pa. - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the recipients of the 2025 NCAA DII Men's Scholar All-American Awards on Monday morning (April 7), naming four Quincy University men's wrestlers as Scholar All-Americans.
Requirements for consideration for NWCA Scholar All-American status are: an All-American placement at the DII National Championships with a 3.00 GPA, national qualification to the DII National Championships with a 3.25 GPA, or competed in four or more events with a 3.5 GPA.
For a second time in their careers,
Logan Colbert and
Sabian Russell became NCWA Scholar All-Americans, also getting joined by
Callan Ivy and
Dalton Schell for the highest single season total of Scholar All-American honorees.
The men's wrestling squad had three honorees a season ago, and the Hawks' first NWCA Scholar All-American in
Isaac Bourge back in the program's first season in 2022-23.
