Quincy Sends Two to NCAA Swim and Dive Championship

Indianapolis, Ind. - The National Collegiate Athletic Association released its selection field for the 2025 NCAA Swim and Dive Championships on Wednesday afternoon. Among the list were swimmers Borna Kisasondi and Wyatt Walsh who will represent Quincy University on the big stage at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kisasondi qualified to compete in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. His backstroke time from the House of Champions Invitational helped him secure the 15th best time in the country. He swam his fastest 100 butterfly in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship, earning himself a fourth place finish in the event and and the tenth best time in the nation. Kisasondi is also invited to compete in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle while in Indianapolis.

Walsh makes his second splash in the national pool with another top time in the 400IM. Last year in the event, Walsh was just .23 seconds away from the consolation final and an All-American status. This year Walsh heads to Indianapolis ranked 13th in the nation for his 3:52.20 time, a time he swam at the IU Natatorium at the House of Champions Invite. Walsh was also invited to swim in the 200IM and the 500 freestyle.

The NCAA Championship will begin with an opening ceremony on March 11th and will continue through March 15th. Quincy's members will compete on March 12-14th for their respective events.
