INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -
Brock Inman has been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Defensive Player of the Week following his standout performance in the Hawks' exhilarating 34–33 overtime victory over William Jewell.
Inman anchored the Quincy defense with seven total tackles, including six solo stops and one assisted tackle. He also recorded a tackle for loss and forced two fumbles, providing game-changing plays that sparked the Hawks' defense in the tight road win.
The honor marks Inman's first career GLVC Defensive Player of the Week award. It is also Quincy's ninth all-time defensive weekly honor and the program's first since Lazerick Hill earned the recognition in 2023.
Inman and the Hawks will return to action on Saturday, October 18, when they travel to face Truman State at Stokes Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 PM as Quincy looks to build on its momentum and earn its fourth consecutive GLVC road win.
