COLUMBUS, OH. - The Hawks continued their MIVA conference schedule on the road, facing off with the No.8 Buckeyes of Ohio State University on Friday evening (Feb. 16). Set Three
Ohio State looked poised to deal QU another early blow as it had in the last set leading 9-4. The Hawks were not turned away so easily this time, going on a 9-2 run to burst back out into the forefront 13-11.
Later in the set at 15-14 Quincy, a three-point run for the Buckeyes gave them a lead they would never return as the Hawks pulled within one on a couple of occasions down the stretch, including at 22-21 thanks to a kill and ace from Alleyne.
