Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Junior): For the third consecutive season, Wagiel led the Hawks with 185 digs. His 2.23 digs per set ranked first in the MIVA and 11th in all of Division II. He also had 56 assists and a season-high 18 digs in a win over Queens (2/3/24).

2023 (Sophomore): In 27 matches and 94 sets played, Dominik led the team with 172 digs, good for 1.83 digs per set, which was third in the MIVA and 35th in all of Division II. He had a season-high thirteen digs against King (1/19/23) and Ball State (3/24/23).

2022 (Freshman): In his first season with the Hawks, Wagiel appeared in 22 matches and totaled 63 sets, where led the team with 98 digs and also had 33 assists. He made his collegiate debut against Missouri Baptist (1/19/22), where he recorded a season-high 20 digs.

Personal: Dominik Wagiel, originally from Lubin, Poland, attended SMS Jastrzebski Wegiel, where he competed for the Hawks. He is the son of Monika and Grzegorz Wagiel and has one sibling, Martyna. A dedicated men’s volleyball player, Dominik is a two-time Vice Champion of Poland, demonstrating his high level of performance on the national stage. Off the court, he enjoys cooking, watching Formula 1, and following football. His favorite athlete is Michal Kubiak, and he's a passionate supporter of Real Madrid.

Why QU?
I chose QU because it was a place where I could pursue my academic and athletic career at a high level.
