Kansas City, Mo. – The Quincy University men's lacrosse team played Rockhurst University on Tuesday (Apr. 25), losing 13-6.
 
The QU Hawks started off the contest strong after 
Jayme Brain notched an unassisted tally in the first five minutes. Rockhurst bounced back scoring three more before Brain found 
Jordan Ernst in the final minutes of the first quarter to score the QU Hawks' second goal.
 
Quincy went two periods scoreless but amped up its shooting in the fourth quarter, taking 17 shots and scoring four. 
John Jennings scored the first of this frenzy, unassisted. After four quick shots from the QU Hawks, 
Jordan Ernst buried his second goal of the game. Ernst assisted Jennings in his second goal of the game and 
Nick Woodworth finished the game with an unassisted goal at the end of the contest.
 
Ryan Riggs had a season-high performance in net, saving 21 of the 63 Rockhurst shots. He also picked up eight ground balls.
 
Quincy returns home for one final game of the season against #4 University of Indianapolis. The game will begin at 1 p.m.
