EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Hawks split the final day of the Blue Bridge Battle. For the tournament, QU had an overall record of 4-2.
Game 1 vs Davis & Elkins
The Hawks battled Davis & Elkins College in the opening game of the final day at the Blue Bridge Battle. QU came out on top with the 1-0 victory.
The Hawks scratched the lone run of the contest in the bottom of the 5th with a fielder's choice by Isabella Shields that scored Ashley Gerber.
Jayle Jennings improved to 3-2 on the year throwing a complete game, facing one hitter over the minimum. She struck out 9 hitters and only allowed one hit.

Game 2 vs Northwood
QU battled Northwood University in the final game of the Blue Bridge Battle. The Timberwolves scored 4 unanswered in the bottom of the 6th to take the game by the score of 7-3.
NU struck first in the bottom of the first with an RBI single and a sac fly to make it 2-0.
Jayle Jennings hit a 2-run home run in the top of the 4th to tie the game at 2. The Timberwolves took the 3-2 lead in the bottom half of the inning on an RBI single.
Mykah Hurley tied the game in the top of the 5th on a sacrifice bunt that scored Ryleigh Jones.
Northwood scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th on 3 hits and 2 errors.
Brooklynn Fischer dropped her record to 2-5 on the season going 5.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 7 runs.
